About Me
My professional journey commenced with a foundation in commercial photography at NSCC, leading to an eight--year venture as a freelance wedding and portrait photographer. The lens, as my tool of expression, allowed me to capture the essence of moments, fostering a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Transitioning back into the heart of the tourism industry, I spent three years as the Marketing & Events Coordinator for White Hills Resort. This pivotal role granted me behind--the--scenes insights, laying the groundwork for my subsequent tenure as Manager of Market Readiness with the regional Destination Management Organization, Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland. Here, I played a key role in assisting tourism--based operators with a comprehensive spectrum of marketing strategies, funding procurement, and experience development ---- and cultivated strong professional relationships within the industry.
My proficiency extends across social media management, digital marketing, and creative design, where I have consistently delivered results by enhancing brand awareness, fostering meaningful connections, and driving measurable growth. The heart of my success lies in collaboration, and I believe that building strong connections is a cornerstone of effective marketing.
I am high energy, creative, and motivated. I thrive on staying ahead of the curve in an ever--evolving industry. My commitment to excellence and collaborative spirit positions me as a dynamic force in the realm of marketing consultancy, ready to drive innovation and growth for my clients.
I look forward to helping you elevate your brand!
Hi, I'm Cheri Holloway.
I bring over two decades of experience in the dynamic landscape of the tourism industry, spanning both sides of the globe. I have travelled and worked my way through 23 countries as a scuba diving instructor, sport fishing guide, and snowboard instructor.
My travels allowed me to absorb diverse cultures and perspectives. However, it was my return to the captivating landscapes of my home island of Newfoundland that unveiled a newfound appreciation for its beauty, inspiring a fresh and wondrous outlook.
